Get your Airbnb property “Guest Ready” for Summer!

By September 28, 2020 No Comments

Today’s announcement of a possible “Travel Bubble” between Australia and New Zealand has many Australians and New Zealanders exited to welcome the return of tourism and with that in mind, NOW is the time to get your home or investment property ready for the influx of this possible Trans-Tasman travel bubble.

After speaking with Qantas executives earlier this week, they indicated that Australian and New Zealanders are busting to get somewhere…anywhere; “we are a culture of travellers”.  I agree that where-ever I go, I seem to find an Australian or Kiwi and we are known the world over for it.  Travel has become such a part of our nature that we will quickly see exploration of domestic and Trans-Tasman tourist as COVID-19 numbers decrease and international and interstate border re-open.

In Australia alone and according to Tourism Research Australia (TRA), we are seeing Australians head back into the regional areas with tourism rebounding by over $1 billion in the month of June 2020.

Capital cities like Sydney also have their fingers crossed for the go-ahead of the traditional Sydney Fireworks 2021. The NSW Premier seems to be pushing to celebrate the New Year and recognise the hard work of everyone during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.  “It would be likely that events could occur in restaurants and venues in the CBD, with restrictions on people in public places”.

With all this in mind, NOW is the time to get your property “Guest Ready”.  This could mean a de-clutter, new linens and towels, deep clean through-out, booking in storage units for bulky items or a complete re-fit of interiors and soft furnishings.  Found out how the team at Air Design can get you “Guest Ready” in time for Summer.
